Vladimir Ministry of Health received additional duties

The Ministry of Health of the Vladimir Region received new powers related to the region’s participation in countering terrorism and spreading neo-Nazi ideology. The corresponding resolution was signed by Governor Alexander Avdeev. According to the document, the Ministry will monitor socio-political and socio-economic processes that may be important for anti-terrorist work.

Among the tasks of the Ministry are to identify and eliminate the prerequisites that contribute to the commission of terrorist crimes, as well as to develop measures against factors associated with the spread of terrorist and neo-Nazi ideologies. The Office should also participate in the organization of interethnic and interfaith events and information work.

In addition, the regional Ministry of Health was instructed to coordinate the participation of regional and municipal authorities in anti-terrorist exercises. Thus, in addition to the relevant health issues, the department received a number of organizational functions within the framework of the regional system of countering terrorism.
