Volgograd residents say goodbye to honored coach Mikhail Zatselyapina n
Died honored coach of the RSFSR Mikhail Ivanovich Zatselyapin – he was 88 years old. His death was reported in Volgograd sports school of the Olympic reserve in athletics.
The name of Mikhail Zatselyapin is firmly connected with the history of Volgograd sports: more than half a century he devoted to the development of athletics and made a huge contribution to the training of high-class athletes. Among his pupils are honored masters of sports Tatiana Gordeeva and Ilya Shkurenev, as well as masters of sports of international class Alexei Sysoev and Evgeny Sarantsev.
Colleagues remember Mikhail Ivanovich not only as an outstanding mentor, but also as a rare person.
“Not only was he a great coach, he was an amazing person,” they wrote in their obituary.
Farewell to Mikhail Zatselyapin will be held on November 10 at 10.45 at the cemetery of the Krasnoarmeysky district of Volgograd.
