Volgograd rescuers held conversations with schoolchildren about safety on water bodies
In schools of the Volgograd region, rescuers reminded children about the rules of safety on water bodies in the cold season. Classes were conducted by specialists of Kamyshinsky and Nikolaev search and rescue units

With the onset of cold weather, the Rescue Service conducts preventive classes in municipal educational institutions of the region. The main task is to warn children about the risks of autumn and winter water bodies.
Students are explained how quickly hypothermia develops when falling into cold water, what is dangerous immature ice and why it is strictly forbidden to check its strength with a kick of the leg. Students are also reminded of emergency numbers and told how to use personal protective equipment.
Rescuers urged adults to talk to children and explain why you can not be near water bodies without supervision. According to them, such a conversation can prevent tragedy.
