Students of the Junior sports club from Vyborg took 20 medals at the taekwondo competitions of the ITF

The “Kingisepp Cup” gathered more than 150 participants from Ivangorod, St. Petersburg, Sosnovy Bor, Lomonosov and Gorbunks. However, the Vyborg team took a leading position, winning 20 medals. This was reported in the press service of the administration of the Vyborg district.

Local athletes won 5 gold, 12 silver and 3 bronze medals. Varvara Kodica became the absolute champion of the tournament. Her success is proud of the club, relatives, friends and the whole area.

Three athletes received special cups for Tula. In the main categories - sparring, tula, smashing objects - Vyborg fighters consistently entered the top three, confirming a high level of training. The success of the team is the merit of coach Anton Rogalev. Under his leadership, athletes reach new heights.

In conditions of high competition, the successful performance of the Leningrad Region team vividly demonstrates the power and prospects of sports in Vyborg. This success is achieved thanks to the implementation of the federal program “Sport of Russia”, as well as active support from regional and local authorities.
