South Urals told how fast the car would like to drive
For 35% of motorists of the Chelyabinsk region, the acceleration time of the car to 100 km / h does not matter much

For 35% of motorists of the Chelyabinsk region, the acceleration time of the car to 100 km / h does not matter. At the same time, almost half of the respondents would like to drive a car that gains a hundred faster than seven seconds. Such results were obtained by the car portal "Drom".
The most popular option among those who are important dynamics was acceleration to 100 km / h in 5-7 seconds. It was chosen by 30% of survey participants from the Chelyabinsk region.
Another 18 percent would prefer a faster car that can score a hundred in less than five seconds. The same number of respondents would arrange acceleration in 8-10 seconds.
But 35% of South Ural drivers admitted that they do not pay attention to this indicator.
Country preferences vary markedly. Most fans of rapid acceleration was in Kamchatka – 29%. Sakhalin followed with 26% and Moscow with 25%.
Machines gaining a hundred in 5-7 seconds are especially popular in the Yaroslavl region (41%), Khakassia (39%) and St. Petersburg (37%). And in the Leningrad region, more than half of the respondents, 54%, do not attach importance to the dispersal.
In comments, motorists explained why the numbers in the characteristics don't always determine the choice. For a quiet drive around the city, some drivers believe, 8-10 seconds is enough. Another thing is two-lane tracks, where when overtaking trucks, a power reserve is especially needed.
Other participants recalled traffic jams, cameras and expensive maintenance of powerful cars. There were jokes: instead of accelerating in five seconds, some would prefer fuel consumption of five liters per hundred in the city.
