For a week in the Vologda region, the incidence of SARS increased by almost 70%

The Department of Rospotrebnadzor records a sharp increase in respiratory diseases in the region. Over the past week, more than 6.3 thousand people applied for medical care with symptoms of SARS. The figure is 69.8% more than a week earlier.

The causative agents of parainfluenza, metapneumovirus and rhinovirus circulate among the population. Experts remind about preventive measures: wash hands with soap or use an antiseptic, wear masks, avoid close contact with colds. Influenza vaccination remains an important protection measure, especially for children, the elderly, pregnant women and people with chronic diseases.

When symptoms appear, doctors advise you to stay home and call a doctor.
