During the day in Belarus rescuers found five people lost in the forest

Over the past day, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations found five people lost in the forest. The cases occurred in Vitebsk, Gomel and Brest regions. All those found were handed over to relatives, no one needed medical care, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations told sb.by.

In Zhlobinsky district, rescuers were looking for a pensioner who went by car to the forest for mushrooms and got lost near the village of Skepnya. In Lelchitsky district late in the evening, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations went in search of a pensioner: he went to the forest for berries near the village of Novoye Polesie and was lost. In the Rossonsky district, rescuers helped out of the forest a man and a woman who got lost near the village of Gorki. They went for the berries in the morning. In Stolinsky district, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations helped a lost woman: she was lost collecting berries near the village of Rovchak.

Rescuers remind: do not go to the forest alone, learn the basic rules of orientation, inform relatives or friends about the intended route and time of return, wear comfortable, waterproof and bright clothes and shoes, be sure to bring your phone, water, medicines, knife and matches.
