According to the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of IKI RAS and ISZF SB RAS, the geomagnetic background will fluctuate between 2 and 3 points on the Kp index. A slight perturbation of the magnetosphere (up to 4 points) was recorded only at night - from midnight to 3:00, because of which weather-dependent people could face superficial sleep or morning weakness. However, already in the daytime and evening, the situation completely normalizes, passing into a state of so-called geomagnetic calm.
Despite the favorable prognosis, doctors remind that mild fluctuations in the field, combined with typical October dampness and wet snow, can cause mild malaise in people with chronic cardiovascular diseases.
The current respite for the Siberians should be used to recuperate, since this calm will be temporary. According to preliminary data of meteorologists Yandex. Weather, already at the end of the month - October 31 - Novosibirsk will be covered by a magnetic storm of the G1 level (5 points on the Kp scale).
