A Brisbane resident saved a baby koala from a python in a nature reserve in the suburbs of Camp Hill, reports ABC News.
While walking with the dog, the woman heard a noise and hurried to the sound. There she saw the mother koala desperately trying to free the cub, which was wrapped around the python. The Australian raised the animal with the snake and carefully removed the reptile. At one point, the python was in her hand, and the rescued cub clutched onto her shoulder.
The woman checked whether the baby was injured and brought him to a tree where his mother had already climbed. The baby immediately climbed up to her. A python about one and a half meters long woman took to another part of the park and released. According to her, the snake could strangle the koala, but it is unlikely to be able to swallow it.
