67-year-old resident of Voronezh suspected of fraud in the sale of tractor

A 67-year-old resident of Voronezh is suspected of fraud in the sale of a tractor. According to investigators, the man received from the buyer from Dagestan 1.3 million rubles for the truck, presenting forged documents. This was reported by the police of the Lipetsk region.
In August, a 43-year-old resident of the Republic of Dagestan appealed to the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia “Khlevenskoye”. The man said that he found an advertisement on the Internet for the sale of the tractor at an attractive price. Photos of documents and passport details of the seller convinced him of the reliability of the transaction.
The buyer met with the seller in a roadside cafe on the territory of the Khleven municipal district. He handed over 1.3 million rubles and received documents for the car. The man decided to pick up the tractor after a few days, but after returning home he found that the papers were fake.
Employees of the criminal investigation department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Lipetsk region, together with police officers from Khlevensky, established the identity of the alleged fraudster. It turned out to be a 67-year-old Voronezh. According to law enforcement officers, due to financial difficulties, he received copies of documents and passport data of a friend, made fake papers for the car and posted an ad for the sale on the Internet.
The suspect pleaded guilty. To date, he partially compensated the damage, returning the buyer 600 thousand rubles.
The criminal case is being investigated under part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Fraud”. Investigators continue to establish all the circumstances of the incident.
