Residents of Komi with cancer offered a new support program

Patients from Komi with non-small cell lung cancer who cannot receive the drug osimertinib, launched information support. The site posted instructions on how to act in the absence of medication, and a template for applying to authorized bodies.

Osimertinib is included in the list of vital drugs. It does not act on all dividing cells, like classical chemotherapy, but mainly on tumors with certain mutations. Since November 2024, the introduction of the drug into civil circulation is prohibited by the FAS.

The program does not involve independent delivery of the drug. Its purpose is to tell you where to go on drug supply. By law, such drugs are provided under state guarantees.
