With an abundance of fire, sweat and foam: in St. Petersburg named the winners of the 48th international competition of firefighters

Firefighters poured sweat and foam on difficult tests of the obstacle course. So in St. Petersburg ended the 48th international competitions of the strongest gas and smoke protectors. This was reported by the press service of the EMERCOM of St. Petersburg.

In full fireproof uniforms, firefighters had to overcome the obstacle course. On the way, they met high stairs, closed iron doors that had to be opened, crossed through wooden barriers and suspended tires. To perform tasks, fire extinguishers, hoses and chainsaws were used to quickly reach the fire and extinguish it.

In the nomination “The best link of gas dymoprotective service” won the team of the fire and rescue squad of the Moscow district. The second place was taken by representatives of the detachment of the Kronstadt district, the third by the Vyborg district. Among the branches of the gas smoke protection service, the first place is at the firefighters of the Nevsky district, the second at Primorsky, the third at Vyborgsky.

In the international group, the best link was the Emergencies Ministry team in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. Silver at the detachment of the Vsevolozhsky district of the Leningrad region, bronze at the team of the Murmansk region.
