Champion of Russia of the season 2024/25 in the “Krasnodar” goalkeeper Yuri Dupin did not find a new club and decided to suspend his career. The 38-year-old footballer told RB Sport.
Last season Dupin spent in “Sochi”.
“No good options have emerged. So I'm putting my career on hold. But I'm not saying I'm done. Maybe something will pop up in the winter transfer window, Dupin said.
When asked what he plans to do in a pause in his career, Dupin said: “I have a business plan, engaged in building a business.” It's a secret so far, but he's in sports too.”.
Throughout his career, Dupin played for Barnaul Dynamo, Novokuznetsk Metallurg, SKA-Khabarovsk, Kuban, Anji, Rubin and Krasnodar, with whom he won the Russian championship. The goalkeeper was called to the Russian national team, but he never played a single match for the national team.
