The Control and Disciplinary Committee of the Russian Football Union (CDC RFU) suspended Brazilian defender CSKA Moscow Mateus Reis for four matches (two - conditionally). This was reported by the press service of the Russian Premier League (RPL).
On September 12, CSKA in its field took Kazan Rubin - 1: 1. In the 15th minute, Reis received a red card: in the skate he touched Colombian defender Anderson Arroyo with a straight raised foot. The Brazilian, who disagreed with the decision, pushed Inal Tanashev in the back as he left the field. According to Art. 95 paragraph 3 of the RFU Disciplinary Regulations, a six-match suspension is provided for such violation.
Due to the sanctions, Mateus Reis will miss the away game with Dynamo Makhachkala (September 17) and the home meeting with the capital’s Homeland (October 11). According to the results of eight rounds CSKA with 16 points takes third place in the standings of the RPL.
KDK also disqualified the Spanish midfielder “Homeland” Iker Poso for three games. The protocol notes that after a guest meeting with the Samara “Wings of the Soviets” (1: 2), the footballer showed “insulting behavior towards the assistant of the chief referee in the under-tribune room.” He will not play against Rubin, CSKA and Moscow Spartak.
