There are two notable changes in the calendar. The Portuguese and Turkish Grand Prix are on the list. The stages in the Dutch Zandfort and Barcelona are excluded from it.
The first Grand Prix of the next World Cup is to be held on March 12-14 in Bahrain, the second next weekend in Saudi Arabia. In the current championship, these stages were canceled due to the armed conflict between Israel and Iran, which affected security throughout the region. However, the situation regarding these two stages, as well as the races in the Grand Prix of Qatar and Abu Dhabi, remains uncertain. According to the portal GPBlog, among the options in case of cancellation of the Middle East Grand Prix three locations: mentioned Zandforth and Barcelona, and Imola.
The number of stages with sprint races will increase from six to ten. Unexpectedly, one of these weekends was an extremely prestigious, but traditionally not too spectacular one due to the small number of overtakings of the Monaco Grand Prix.
