The goals were scored by Lionel Messi (24th minute) and Casemiro (81st). The Argentine forward scored the 100th goal for Inter Miami in his 115th game for the club. He won his fifth title with the team. Together with Inter Miami, the striker won the North American League Cup (2023), the MLS regular championship (2024), the Eastern Conference play-off and the MLS championship (2025).
The Champions Cup was Messi’s 49th trophy in his career. The highest number of awards he took with the Spanish “Barcelona” – 35. Also on account of his six titles in the national team of Argentina, three more he won with the French PSG.
39-year-old Lionel Messi is the most decorated footballer. In second place is Brazilian defender Dani Alves, who retired in 2023.
