Earlier, journalist Ivan Karpov wrote about the initiative. According to him, the corresponding order has already been signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. Fan ID is not required to enter the stadiums of teams from the First and Second Leagues.
From the 2022/23 season, a Fan ID is required to attend RPL matches. Also, a fan card is required for passage to the final of the Cup of Russia and the match for the Super Cup of the country. After the introduction of Fan ID, a number of fan groups of RPL clubs announced a boycott of those sports events where the system is used.
