In one of the three matches on Wednesday, September 23, in the national hockey championship, Baranovichi Aviator defeated Metallurg Zhlobinsk on its ice - 2: 1. Team Dmitry Sayapin suffered the first defeat in the new draw, reports sb.by.

The hosts of the site scored Daniil Martynets (11th minute) and Vladislav Shilo (36), and the guests answered only with a goal of Yegor Kuzmenko (38).

The results of all matches of the game day in the extraleague: Shakhtar (Soligorsk) – Mogilev – 4:1, Aviator (Baranovichi) – Metallurg (Zhlobin) – 2:1, Youth (Minsk) – Slavutich (Smolensk) – 1:4.

The tournament table is headed by Shakhtar, which has the maximum possible 12 points. The closest pursuers of the Pitmen are Metallurg (10), Vitebsk (9), Slavutich (8), Gomel (8) and Dynamo (7).

Participants who finish in places from the seventh to the tenth will contest two more trips to the playoffs in the qualifying round in series up to two victories. The playoffs will begin on March 10 and end no later than April 23. At each stage - quarterfinal, semifinal and final - the fight will be fought up to four victories.

Most often in the championship of Belarus on hockey won the Minsk “Youth”, which has 11 trophies. Also in the three most titled teams of the tournament include Grodno “Neman” (7) and Zhlobin “Metallurg” (5).
