Fans in the Netherlands blocked players at the club base

In the Netherlands, De Grafshapa fans blocked the club base and did not allow the team to go to the match with Vitesse. The game was supposed to start on Sunday at 14:15 GMT. Fans blocked the exits, so the transport with the players remained on the base.

The action was a response to the decision of the authorities of Arnhem, where the match was to be held. They banned guest fans from attending the game. Initially, about 500 De Grafshap fans were expected, but the clubs did not agree on security conditions and access to them was closed.

The Royal Dutch Football Association responded to the incident. They described the behavior of the fans as unacceptable. The materials will be submitted to the disciplinary authorities.

The official reaction of the clubs to the breakdown of the match has not yet been received. No further details were given about the incident.
