Bryansk sambist won the gold of the World Cup in Dushanbe

Bryansk athlete Olga Bryagina became the winner of the World Sambo Cup in Dushanbe. She won gold in combat sambo in the weight category up to 50 kg. Russian sambists won 20 medals on the first day of the competition.
The men's team won in six weight categories out of seven. Gold from Denis Pasternak, Nikita Nazarov, Ali Tursunov, Vladislav Panov, Dmitry Eliseev and Alexei Merzlikin. The four finals were purely Russian.
Silver medalists were German Sigarev, Raul Babayev, Denis Fedotov and Roman Zheltov. The bronze was won by Eduard Muradyan and Ramazan Tsyku.
In female combat sambo, Russian athletes won four gold, one silver and three bronze awards.
