In Ryazan ended the final stage of the Cup of Russia in hand-to-hand combat. A pupil of the MBU before the SSHOR "Dynamo" Alexei Mikhalev confirmed the title of the strongest in the country and won a gold medal in the weight category up to 67 kg, told the press service of the Department of physical culture and sports of Chelyabinsk.
Mikhalev is coached by Valery Misbakhov and Alexey Panarin. At the tournament, 145 strongest athletes from all over the country fought for victory.
Another Chelyabinsk hand-to-hand Ivan Savydashev held four tense fights in the category up to 97 kg and stopped a step from the pedestal.
