Chelyabinsk volleyball players from the Dynamo-Metar club became the youngest team of the beach volleyball tournament, but they were able to impose the fight on experienced couples.

For the Chelyabinsk region on the sand of the final fights of the Championship of Russia on beach volleyball were Sofia Lebsak and Sofia Gavrilova. In the main draw of the tournament they were put against much more experienced opponents. The first against whom the Chelyabinsk volleyball players played was the St. Petersburg duo Motrich / Petrov. Ours yielded to them in two parties, 8:21 and 9:21. However, in the next game against the Krasnoyarsk pair Zakaev / Chuev Chelyabinsk gave a much more serious fight. In the first game they played, but lost in the endings with a score of 20:22, in the second with a score of 12:21.

“Even last season, the final of the Russian Championship with the participation of our young team seemed something from the field of fiction,” comments the coach of the beach team “Dynamo-Metar” Sergey Borisov. - Yeah, no wins today.
