The championship of Russia in practical shooting from a gun ended in Serpukhov

Participants in the tournament were more than a hundred shooters. Their athletes were sent Novosibirsk, Bryansk, Ivanovo, Moscow and a number of other regions. Regional teams and their leaders contested the awards in two competitions - personal and team.

The athletes had to undergo twenty exercises. Each track is built from scratch: shelters, scenery, penalty barriers, moving targets. Before the start, the participant studies the staging and then decides in which sequence to hit the targets. The result is determined by the hit factor: the number of points is divided by the time spent. Victory goes to the one who has managed to combine accuracy with speed.

Practical shooting left the system of combat training of special forces, but has long existed as a separate and exciting sport discipline. Its principles are expressed in the motto: accuracy, power, speed. Discipline and compliance with the rules are equally important.

The tournament was organized by the Practical Shooting Federation of Russia, the Practical Shooting Federation of the Moscow Region and ANO DPO “Sports School “Central Shooting Range of the Practical Shooting Federation” with the support of the Ministry of Sport of the Moscow Region.

This year, commemorative diplomas were awarded not only to medalists, but also to all athletes who got into the top 10 in each class.
