Footballers of Buryatia will play in the final of the championship of Russia of the third division

The Buryatia team entered the 16 strongest teams among amateurs and won a place to protect the honor of the republic in the main national championship of the third echelon.

Matches of the decisive stage of the tournament in the third league will be held in the resort of Sochi from 5 to 15 November.

The captain of the composition is Pavel Sinatorov, who serves in the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Republic of Buryatia, the press service of the department told.

He also plays for the national football team of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia and coaches the children's club BSU Junior. His biography is a vivid example of how the service is harmoniously combined with a passion for sports and high results.

Under his leadership, the team has overcome a difficult path in regional tournaments, showing the will to win, skill and character. Each match brought them closer to that goal.

The result of the team “Buryatia” at the Cup of Siberia in 2026 deserves attention. The team made it to the final, and in qualifying games for a ticket to the main stage played against Jasmine from Mikhailovsk. Having defeated the opponent in two matches, Buryatia showed a total score of 6: 3.

For the first time Siberia in the final of the third league will be represented by two clubs: Barnaul Temp joined Buryatia, which received a ticket to Sochi.
