Hockey players “Youth” won the first victory in the new season Extraliga

In the third round of the new season of Betera-Extraliga on hockey of Belarus, the capital "Youth" away defeated "Mogilev" - 3: 2, the correspondent of the agency "Minsk-Novosti" reports.

The season did not start in the best way for Minsk. The team failed to make it to the Saley Cup playoffs, completing the fight in the group stage. And in the first two rounds of the championship, the wards of Sergey Pushkov twice lost to Orsha Lokomotiv - 0: 4 and 3: 4. The Mogilevites had two victories in the asset - they successfully worked away against Baranovichi "Aviator" (7:4 and 5:4).

In this match, “Youth” had a difficult time, as the opponent worked powerfully and creatively. However, the Minskers had a positive outlook in the final stage. The ice squad kept counting all the time. So, in the first half, a cute combination was organized by Dmitry Hobyan and Nikolai Salygo. They both dragged the puck into a foreign zone, and Khobyan almost imperceptible movement of the stick crossed the puck into the goal (1: 0). At the start of the second period, the hosts responded with the same coin, realizing a numerical majority (youth had the removal of the hockey player).

The most interesting thing began in the final 20 minutes, teeming with removals. Pushkov's guys, acting in the majority, managed to throw twice. Goals in the asset of Mark-Emile Malyshev and Andrei Simonov (3: 1). However, more than four minutes before the end of the main time, Mogilev reduced the difference (2: 3) and had a good opportunity to transfer the game to overtime. However, the hosts could not abandon, acting in the format of “six by four”. At this stage, defenders and goalkeeper of “Youth” Ivan Kolyada selflessly worked.

- It was a tough game for us. She was pretty quick. We took the initiative somewhere. I am glad that the moments that we corrected - both on the bench and at half-time - gave results. The Validol ending came when they played six on four. But the guys survived, caught this puck on themselves, said S. Pushkov at the end of the meeting.
