Lokomotiv suffered the most unexpected defeat of the season

The team of the Yaroslavl hockey club Lokomotiv suffered a crushing defeat from the Vostok conference team. On September 20, Lokomotiv played against Barys in its field.

No one expected such a rush from Kazakh guests. Dmitry Kvartalnov, the head coach of Lokomotiv, put the first number in the goalkeeper Melnichuk. And instead of the giant Falkovsky introduced a young Mark Ulyev.

But the adversary, who was an outsider at the Vostok conference last year, suddenly showed a temper and a spirit that was not expected of him. He showed that he was preparing well in the off-season. In the first period he scored two unanswered goals. Two more in the second. And in the third, after Dmitry Kvartalnov put in the "frame" Daniel Isayev, another. The result of the meeting is 0-5 in favor of Barys.

Commenting on the results of the meeting, Dmitry Kvartalnov said that the team did not have enough winning spirit. Lost throws, fight for the puck. That's why we didn't score goals.

He promised to work on his mistakes.

It is worth noting that such offensive defeats to Barys and HC Sochi were at the start of last season. As long as it's not trendy.
