The race distance was 3 km. Deputy Prime Minister Natalia Petkevich joined hundreds of participants.
“It’s great that the youth fled with full dedication from beginning to end,” said the Deputy Prime Minister. It was a pleasure to run shoulder to shoulder with everyone, to be in the middle of this wave.
N. Petkevich, quoted by BelTA, noted that sports are important for the development of a strong personality.
- Sport is a challenge, sport is a union and self-realization. Everything you need to develop a strong personality can be embodied in sports. At the same time, it does not matter what goal everyone sets for himself - to maintain the body in tone or storm the pedestals. The main thing is to be together, the Deputy Prime Minister stressed.
The third-year student of Vitebsk State Technological University Vladislav Avreitsovich won the festive mass race.
- Competing side by side with students from all over the country is a huge charge of cheerfulness. I have been doing athletics for six years, before that I gave ten years to swimming, so experience helped. And the excellent sunny weather in Minsk today played into our hands, the young man said.
