Belarusian youth football team to meet Belgians in European Championship qualification

Today, on September 24, the Belarusian youth football team will hold the penultimate match in the qualifying tournament of the European Championship. Our team will compete with peers from Belgium in Westerlo, reports sb.by.

Also in the framework of this qualification, the wards of Vitaly Pavlov will still fight the Danes. This match will be held in Veil on September 28.

Earlier in the qualifying tournament, Belarusian footballers shared points with the Belgians (1: 1), twice lost to the Austrians (2: 3, 1: 2), exchanged victories with the Welsh (3: 0, 0: 2), and also suffered defeat from the Danes (0: 1).

The tournament table of the quintet I now looks like this: 1. Belgium - 10 points (5 matches); 2. Austria - 10 (6); 3. Denmark - 10 (5); 4. Wales - 6 (6); 5. Belarus - 4 (6).

The nine winners of the qualifying groups, as well as the best team from those who will take second places, will break through to the final stage of the top tournament. The remaining eight holders of second positions in November this year will compete for the remaining vouchers in the joints.
