About 150 athletes gathered the tournament “King of the Arctic” in NAO

The NAO hosted the second stage of the tournament in MMA and BJJ “King of the Arctic”. According to the organizers, with each tournament the scale of the project increases. About 150 athletes gathered at the venue.

- We plan to hold the tournament three times a year: it has already been held in April and October, the next in January. We have a cumulative system, so in January some guys will be able to fight for the belts of champions. Such events form a healthy generation and make sport the norm of life in the region. Fijital zone added a separate drive: here real sports met with the digital world - and the guests felt in a new way how technology can complement movement and motivation, said Maxim Sklyarenko, Chairman of the Eastern Martial Arts Federation of NAO.

The project “New Level: Fijital Sport against Neglect” is implemented by the regional public organization “Federation of Eastern Martial Arts” of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug using a grant from the Department of Internal Policy of the NAO. It aims to prevent adolescent neglect and delinquency through the creation of an innovative Fijital Sport platform for the development of physical, eSports skills and patriotic values among adolescents aged 12-16.
