On the air of the program “By the way”, the former striker of the Russian national team Artem Dzyuba answered questions about the possible continuation of his sports career

In the program “By the way” former striker of the Russian national team Artem Dzyuba answered questions about the possible continuation of his sports career. The 38-year-old is currently a free agent and has no contract with any club.
Dzyuba honestly admitted that he could not give a definite answer and estimated his chances of returning as fifty to fifty, although he is rather inclined to the negative option. He asked about the expediency of continuing performances, noting the lack of prospect of playing in the Champions League.
The athlete explained that he would be ready to help young players in the dressing room or go on replacements only in case of an invitation from a strong team, but he sees no point in moving to lower-level teams.
The professional path of the footballer started in Moscow “Spartak”, after which he defended the colors of Tomsk “Tomi”, “Rostov”, Tula “Arsenal”, Turkish “Adan Demirspor”, the capital “Lokomotiv” and St. Petersburg “Zenit”. As part of the St. Petersburg club, he won the title of champion of Russia four times and won the Super Cup of the country, and also twice became the owner of the Cup of Russia. Dziuba's last job was the Togliatti Acron, from which he left in May this year.
