Prates signs new money contract with UFC
The Brazilian is very pleased with the new conditions

Brazilian fighter of mixed style, the first number of the UFC rating in the welterweight and contender for the title of interim champion Carlos Prates has signed a new contract with the league for eight fights. He said this in an interview with Fighters Weekly.
According to the athlete, he is very pleased with the new conditions proposed by the promotion. Prathes will receive more than a million dollars for each entry into the Octagon. Although he has eight more fights to play under contract, the Brazilian does not think ahead, lives one day and does not rule out a possible retirement before the expiration of his contract.
I want to make money, beat everyone, become a champion, and when I get tired of it, I will leave. When I feel that I can no longer compete with the best, that I can no longer be number one, it doesn’t make sense to keep fighting. Perhaps then I will end my career, Prates said.
On January 31, in the co-main match of the UFC 336 tournament in Toronto, the Brazilian athlete will compete for the title of interim welter-middle division champion with Ecuadorian Michael Morales, who occupies the third line of the rating weight category.
In the last three fights, Carlos Prates was literally shining, he showed his best skills and was at the peak of his career. He knocked out first Jeff Neil backfist, then knocked out ex-champion Leon Edwards and defeated the former title holder Jack Della Maddalena with a technical knockout. Carlos has 24 wins and 7 defeats.
