Head coach Yaroslav Lyuzenkov noted the importance of this victory emotionally, stressing that the team needed to rehabilitate for an unsuccessful start to the season.

The score in the first period was opened by the attacker of guests Alexander Mirzabalaev. A few minutes later, Anton Kosolapov strengthened the advantage of Siberia, successfully realizing the numerical majority. In the second game segment, Semyon Koshelev brought the score to a crushing one, but the owners of the site were able to respond with the only accurate throw of Denis Vengryzhanovsky. However, the intrigue did not last long: defender Darren Dietz restored the difference in the score, throwing the fourth goal of the Novosibirsk club. In the final twenty minutes, Anton Kosolapov scored a double, setting the final result of the meeting - 5: 1.

It is worth noting the reliable game of goalkeeper Anton Krasotkin, who reflected 24 shots of the opponent, as well as forward Stepan Nikulin, who recorded two assists on his account. Thanks to this success, Novosibirsk citizens were able to score important points and slightly improve their position in the standings of the Eastern Conference.

This victory was the second for Siberia after the start of the current regular championship. Before that, the team lost to Dynamo Minsk, Petrochemist and Avtomobilist.
