The invitation came from the International Computer Sports Federation (IESF). Sokolov became the second sports judge in Russia to receive an international judicial license.
Participation in the world championship will be an important stage in the professional career of a specialist. The regional committee noted that the invitation of a Leningrad judge to a competition of this level is important for the development of Russian computer sports.
The experience gained at the championship is also expected to be used for the further development of e-sports in the Leningrad region.
