More than 1,100 young swimmers of the Penza region performed at regional competitions

From October 9 to 25, regional swimming competitions among schoolchildren were held in sports and recreation complexes - branches of the Tatyana Martynenko Multifunctional Tourist and Sports Center. Sites worked in 17 districts of the Penza region. Participants were more than 1,100 students who competed for personal results in five age groups: 2018 years of birth and younger, 2017-2016, 2015-2014, 2013-2012, and 2011 and older.

The tournament was held to popularize and develop sports swimming, promote a healthy lifestyle and identify the strongest swimmers.

As a result of the starts, teams of the best young athletes were formed in the districts. They will present their territories at regional swimming competitions among students of general education organizations dedicated to the Day of National Unity. These competitions will be held on November 14-15, 2026 and will be held in the zones in the Dream complex in the city of Belinsky, Dolphin in the village of Lunino and Pearl in the village of Narovchat.
