Dynamo Moscow lost to Barys in the home match of the KHL regular championship.

On September 22, a match of the regular championship of the Kontinental Hockey League of the season 2026/2027 took place in Moscow, in which the capital Dynamo hosted the Kazakh Barys on the home ground. The meeting ended with a victory of the guests with a score of 4: 1.

Head coach of Dynamo Moscow Leonid Tambiev shared his impressions of the game, noting the dual feeling of what is happening on the ice. According to the mentor, his team owned the initiative and created many moments, but in the decisive episodes failed implementation, composure and skill. Tambiev stressed that in the third period, the blue and white intensified, switched to a game of three links and scored many shots, but the number did not grow into quality.

Referring to the problems in the line of attack, the coach acknowledged the shortage of forwards and expressed hope for the early appearance of new signings, although for now the club has to play with the existing squad. Speaking about striker Jordan Wheel, who previously flew to Canada for the birth of his wife, Tambiev said that the hockey player should fly back to Moscow on the current day.

The specialist also explained the transfer of Magomed Sharakanov to the attack. According to the coach, the player showed good makings and interesting handling of the puck, so he can stay in this position in the next match.
