The coach of Novocheboksary “Falcon” called the reason for the departure of captain Galiullin

The head coach of the Novocheboksary hockey club “Sokol” Dmitry Evstigneev commented on the departure of its captain Ranel Galiullina, noting that the 19-year-old hockey player took the decision to retire voluntarily.

According to the expert, talks about a possible retirement began even before the away series. The coach suggested that the player take his time and give himself a chance to “reset”, but this trip was unsuccessful for him: Galiullin did not get into the main team and played in the fourth link.

He was born in early 2007, he’s a tough guy, and we both agree that at this stage of development, he should play in a leading position, not occasionally. Therefore, his decision to retire was absolutely voluntary, Evstigneev said.

The head coach stressed that he did not fire the player and did not put any pressure on him. The parties parted on a good note. At the same time, the club’s management made it clear that they would no problem releasing the hockey player to another team if he wanted to continue his sports career in the future.
