Scott Gordon, after the victory of Tractor over Avangard in the home match, answered about the condition of some players injured and forecasts of their release on the ice.
Among the injured players, defenseman Sergei Telegin, who was not even in the application for the lineup for the game with Avangard. Scott Gordon omitted details of his injury but said he won't be back on the ice until three weeks later. As for forward Stepan Gorbunov, who was also absent from the ice during the Traktor game against Avangard, Gordon said he had a slight injury, which he most likely suffered "when he went out on the rendezvous with the goalkeeper." The head coach expects that the striker will return to full training next Tuesday. “Of course, we are waiting for the return of Stepan Gorbunov in the next match, we will have thirteen strikers in the application,” says Scott Gordon, noting that due to the injuries of the players in the staff planned to connect the player of Chelmet Mark Rodionov at this match, but he felt bad in the morning.
Gordon said that he expects a speedy return to normal training and goalkeeper Dmitry Nikolaev. According to the coach, with the usual loads, he will return this Tuesday. As for his own health (recall that the head coach after the game “Tractor” against the motorist was in the hospital), Gordon said that after returning to Chelyabinsk, feels great. “We should probably sleep a little more,” the black and white coach said.
