Tyumen judoka Aishat Aliyeva took gold in Dushanbe
Judoka Aishat Aliyeva won the gold of the Junior Grand Prix in judo in Dushanbe

Judoka Aishat Aliyeva won the gold of the Junior Judo Grand Prix in Dushanbe. The tournament was held on October 24-25 and became the first international start for athletes under 21. 227 judokas from 19 countries came out on tatami, and our athlete won in the weight category up to 63 kg.
Aishat trains at the Training Center of the sports reserve "Tyumen-Judo" at Viktor Ivashchenko. The plot of the victory came out especially beautiful: in honor of her triumph, the Anthem of the Russian Federation was sounded and the Flag of our country was raised - the emotions for which athletes put out on tatami for years.
A junior start is not just a medal. It is one of the stages of selection for Russian athletes, which means that Aliyeva’s victory seriously strengthens her position in the fight for a place in the national team.
The names of those who will go to defend the honor of the country will be announced soon: the World Championship will be held in Tashkent from November 19 to 22. We hold our fists for the Tyumen champion - she has, apparently, big fights ahead!
