Open training in sports rock 'n' roll was held at the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture on September 18, reports the correspondent of the agency "Minsk-Novosti".
The guest of honor of the event was honored coach of Russia, one of the founders of acrobatic rock and roll in Russia Ivan Sbitnev.
- The first training was held here three years ago. It was difficult to imagine that our sport would start to gain popularity. The open training is timed for tomorrow's competition and I didn't expect so many athletes to gather. Honored coaches arrived not only from Belarus and Russia, but also from Armenia. It is necessary to constantly hone skills and train, Sbitnev said.
At the beginning of the training, there was a general warm-up, then practical tasks: they worked out the basic steps, ligaments and work in pairs.

Among the Belarusian coaches was Daria Konokhova.
- Open training for our team is an opportunity to learn new things, hone skills and look at the usual exercises from a different angle. For beginners, this is a chance to get acquainted with the sport, which, unfortunately, is not very developed in Belarus, take the first steps and understand how interesting it can be. The main goal is to attract more people, to show that this sport is accessible, open and waiting for everyone. Here you can not be afraid of mistakes, ask questions and grow at your own pace, said D. Konokhova.
International competitions in acrobatic rock and roll will begin on September 19 in Minsk. This will be the second time in Belarus. Start at 14:30.
