Varvara Toporova from Kalmykia won the gold of the third stage of the “Cup of the Strongest” in rhythmic gymnastics

International competitions "Alfa-Bank Cup of the Strongest" ended in St. Petersburg. In the individual all-around victory was won by the representative of the Republic of Kalmykia Varvara Toporova.

Competitions, which brought together more than 200 gymnasts from ten countries, were held in the Jubilee complex from 18 to 20 September. In a stubborn struggle for the title of absolute champion of the third stage, Toporova showed the best result, gaining 110.45 points.

The silver medal of the tournament was received by Ulyana Janus (106.50 points), bronze by Alexander Borisov (106.00 points). The advantage of the Kalmyk athlete over her rivals was significant - almost 4 points.

Varvara Toporova is a pupil of the Academy of Rhythmic Gymnastics "Heavenly Grace" Alina Kabaeva. Within the walls of the academy, she trains under the guidance of Irina and Alina Gusarov, as well as Lyudmila Galchenko.
