The bike track surprised even the most experienced. The second day of the Spartakiad near Minsk ended

Near Minsk, the sanatorium hosts the XII Spartakiad among the employees of the Minsk City Executive Committee, district administrations, the media and deputies on September 19. What ended the second day – read the material of the correspondent of the agency “Minsk-Novosti”.

If the morning began with a weighing, then the program expanded to its fullest: volleyball, city sports, double table tennis, archery and cycling tourism techniques. There was no time to miss.

Cat and cuttlefish tactics

The technique of cycling has become perhaps one of the most insidious tests of the day. The track is short but busy. First it was necessary to bend over and drive under the bar without hitting it, then - swing, after them - two meters of the most level line. Next, the participant took the ball with his right hand, shifted it to the left, drove a snake and stopped in a certain square.

And that's where the fun started. The first stage - to drive and lean under the bar - was surprisingly difficult for many.

- The first stage was very difficult - to drive and bend over. Everyone came up with something of their own: someone used the tactics of a cat, someone – cuttlefish: some went sideways, others bent, the participants shared.

The victory was won by the Zavodskaya district, followed by the Soviet, and the third place was won by the team of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

Work in your head and win

Pair table tennis for someone was an easy walk, and for someone – a real challenge.

The winners were a couple from the administration of the Moscow district – Julia Glebova and Alexander Kudermaev.

- We are prepared, united, train daily, try. This isn't our first Spartakiad. And we're really happy because we've always been in second place. They always played in the final with the Oktyabrsky district and always lost. And here we have a long-awaited victory. Probably, this time we looked at all the little things, thought, carefully watched the opponents, who were very strong, by the way. Only tactics helped us. It was not the first time we played in the finals and we were always missing something. And then worked everything in my head, it turned out, said the winners.

Spotted archers

The archery also turned out to be intense: two targets, two representatives from the team. According to the results of the struggle, the places were distributed as follows: 1st place - Leninsky district, 2nd - Pervomaisky, 3rd - October.

Bet on women

The city sport also turned out to be interesting - everyone fought for every figure. The winner was the Partizan district, the second place was in Central, and the bronze was taken by October.

- Working in local authorities, we must be ready for everything: work, recreation, and sports events. And this time, in the Year of the Belarusian woman, all bets were placed on our participants. The second final place in the towns is strong, but I am sure that the Central District team will take a worthy place in other forms, and the strongest will win, said Valery Voronitsky, head of the Central Administration.

Team result

The long jump was not just a personal event: each team represented six people, and each jumped from the landing site of the previous one. The best result - 12 m 96 cm - showed the Mingorispolkom. The second place was taken by the team of the agency "Minsk-Novosti", the third - Partizan district.

Unfinished battle

Volleyball became the fiercest kind of day. Fights are one more intense than the other: someone played three games, someone played five. Everything is very intense, with ups and downs. The exact results are still unknown – the long-awaited final will take place tomorrow. This is the only type in which the competition will continue, which means that the intrigue of the second competition day is not yet closed.

In the evening, participants were waiting for a real festive dinner, and then a concert with a disco.
