Vladimir weightlifters won 36 medals at the All-Russian tournament “Golden Domes”

Vladimir again proved that he is one of the centers of Russian weightlifting. On the basis of IC "Torpedo" ended the tournament in memory of honored coach of the USSR Viktor Kuznetsov, who gathered 250 athletes from all over the country.

For the owners of the platform - the pupils of the Pavel Kuznetsov SSOR - the native walls really became a talisman. For several days of competition, they stormed the pedestal of honor, taking home 36 medals of various dignity. Especially impressive was the amount of "gold" - 14 top awards replenished the piggy bank of the region.

This triumph is the result of a powerful sports infrastructure supported by the state program “Sport of Russia”. Today, the SSHOR base allows to train more than 3,000 athletes. Pupils of the school not only dominate at home, but also regularly bring trophies from international arenas, as Russian champion Ilya Judin recently did.
