Vodnik sensationally beat the champion of Russia in the opening match of the season

In Moscow, Arkhangelsk Vodnik began the XXXV Russian Championship in hockey with a victory over the capital “Dynamo” with a score of 7:5. Despite the fact that the reigning champion fought back twice and even led in the second half (5: 4), the yellow-greens turned the tide of the meeting thanks to sharp counterattacks. The double was noted by Kirill Orlov, two more goals on the account of Roman Ananyin, one goal scored by Daniil Baev. Governor of the Arkhangelsk region Alexander Tsybulsky congratulated the team on the “test of character”. The next match “Vodnik” will be held on November 11 in Ulyanovsk against “Volga”.
