In one of the central matches of the fourth round of the country's hockey championship, Zhlobin Metallurg won away from Grodno Neman - 3: 2 (in overtime). The reigning champion started the tournament with four wins in four meetings, sb.by reports.

Neman wanted to get even with the steel wolves for the defeat the day before yesterday (2: 6). This time it was much closer to a positive outcome. However, after the victory, the wards of Dmitry Sayapin still achieved.

The guests scored Yuri Veremeenko (4th minute), Bogdan Popovsky (9) and Rostislav Bodilovsky (63), and the owners of the ice responded with goals of Vladislav Kuliev (24) and Daniil Krishtofik (49).

In the regular season, all teams will play 52 matches. According to the results of the stage of the six strongest squads qualify for 1/4 finals. Participants who finish in places from seventh to tenth will contest two more playoff vouchers in the qualifying round in series to two wins. The playoffs will begin on March 10 and end no later than April 23. At each stage - quarterfinal, semifinal and final - the fight will be fought up to four victories.

Most often in the championship of Belarus on hockey won the Minsk “Youth”, which has 11 trophies. Also in the three most titled teams of the tournament include Grodno “Neman” (7) and Zhlobin “Metallurg” (5).
