“Zubry” withstood the Urals onslaught: “Dynamo-Minsk” beat “Automobilist”

Minsk “Dynamo” won the second victory in the current season of the regular championship of the KHL on the ice “Minsk-Arena” on September 20, the correspondent of the Agency “Minsk-Novosti”.

From the first seconds it became clear: the teams are not going to sit in defense. After the initial throw-off, the game almost immediately moved to the enemy's goal. The clubs spent almost four minutes without pause, forcing spectators in the stands to watch each attack. “Automobile” for a long time could not disturb goalkeeper Vasily Demchenko – for the first seven minutes, the Yekaterinburgers did not throw a single shot into the shot. Then the guests added, began to press more often and several times seriously threatened the gates of Minsk residents. However, our goalkeeper acted confidently and repeatedly helped the team.

But the Russian goalkeeper Vladimir Galkin in the ninth minute did not cope. Forward Ilya Usov gave an effective transfer to colleague Daniil Sotishvili, who boldly went to the top and sent the puck into the net - 1: 0. At the end of the period, the guests almost equalized the score, but B. Demchenko was again on top and retained the advantage of Dynamo-Minsk until the break.

In the second period, the "teeth" continued to play actively and soon doubled the advantage. D. Sotishvili made a transfer beyond the opponent's goal, and Xavier Welle filigreely rounded the possessions of V. Galkin and threw at a time when the goalkeeper did not have time to rebuild. 2:0 - a spectacular puck from the defender. The car driver, however, did not give up. Forward Maxim Denezhkin guarded the rebound from the side and quickly sent the puck into the goal - 2: 1.

But the answer of the "dents" was even more convincing. For a few minutes, Dynamo practically locked the guests at their own gate. After a dangerous throw forward Chris Tierney, the puck remained in the opponent's zone, and his colleague Daniil Lipsky was the first to finish - 3: 1. And soon the Minskers got the opportunity to play in the majority. Forward Stanislav Galiev made a great sketch right on the pen, where Nicolas Obe-Kubel was first on the puck and powerfully sent her into the goal - 4-1.

In the third period, "Automobileist" went all-in. Yekaterinburgers noticeably added in the movement and soon reduced the gap to two washers. Forward Daniel Spong played the combination, quickly rushed forward and threw V. Demchenko under the shields - 4: 2. After that, Minsk began to have problems with discipline. The removals allowed guests to build up pressure. Alexander Barabanov took another chance and scored the third puck of Avtomobilist. For the striker, this game was special: he played his 500th game in the KHL.

The scoreboard is 4-3. The last minutes turned into a real test of nerves: the guests removed the goalkeeper and released the sixth fielder, hoping to save the match. The Urals several times dangerously played the puck in the Dynamo-Minsk zone, but could not even the score. And then the mistake of the guests gave Minsk residents the opportunity to put a fat point. Forward Sergey Kuznetsov took possession of the puck and sent it into the empty gate. It took a lot of speed to finish the attack before a possible pass, but it turned out - 5: 3. The final siren marked our club's second win of the season.

Head coach of Dynamo Minsk Sergey Brylin after the game noted the dedication of the team and separately stopped at a difficult third period.

- A good victory against a strong opponent. The boys played selflessly today. I am very happy with the way they fought for the puck. Of course, they came up with problems in the third period with removals, but they were able to bring the game to victory. It was a difficult match, but due to the fact that today we fought and tried with the whole team, we got very important two points, Brylin said.

According to the coach, active play in attack is part of the team philosophy of the “dents”.

- We always try to support the attack. We ask the defenders to play as actively as possible: move, deliver the puck on a pen. So I think it's just a result of our team philosophy, he added.

Thus, after six matches, Dynamo-Minsk have seven points. At the beginning of the season, the team started unsuccessfully, but two of the defeats fell on overtime and bullies. Now the "dents" have another reason to smile: a victory over one of the strong rivals, five abandoned goals and two important points in the piggy bank.

Dynamo Minsk will hold the next match on the road on September 24 against the Moscow club of the same name. This will be the second meeting of the teams in the framework of the regular championship and a good opportunity for Minsk to take revenge.
