Chinese car company Geely introduced a new charging for electric vehicles Geely Smart Charging, which uses artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. As follows from the statement of the company, with the help of a new charging Lynk & Co 10 and Zeekr 001 electric cars can be charged from 10% to 70% in 4 minutes 30 seconds, and up to 97% in 8 minutes 40 seconds.

According to Reuters, this is the fastest charge to date. Geely is now ahead of its competitors in China, such as BYD. Earlier this year, BYD unveiled its own ultra-fast charging that charges an electric car from 10% to 97% in 9 minutes.

Geely reports that the new charging uses an AI-based system Xingrui PowerMind, developed by the automaker in conjunction with the Chinese AI startup StepFun. It manages energy consumption and allows, in particular, to reduce battery heating and increase the duration of its operation. In addition, AI coordinates the interaction of the car, charging, battery, charging stations and other elements of the energy system.

The third package of measures to combat cyber fraud (Anti-Traffic 3.0) proposes to prohibit the resale of identification modules already provided to the subscriber under a mobile communication contract with the allocation of a number. This follows from the draft amendments of the Ministry of Digital Affairs to the law “On Communications” and certain legislative acts, which were familiarized with “Vedomosti”. The changes should come into force from March 1, 2026.
