XXIX International festival of animated films "Animaevka" today, October 2, solemnly ended in Mogilev, reports sb.by.

By tradition, the best animated films, works of children's animated creativity, children's fine and decorative and applied creativity were chosen at the competition. The winners were awarded diplomas and memorable prizes. This year, Animaevka broke previous records: almost 2,000 applications from 99 countries were submitted for participation in the competition program, while in 2025 - 715 applications from 78 countries.
The festival of creativity and animation became special for the youngest participants of the festival, many of whom demonstrated their talents for the first time on such a representative international platform. They were sincerely thanked by the chairman of the jury of the contest of children's fine arts and decorative and applied creativity, a member of the Belarusian Union of Folk Artists Irina Kukhtina:
- Thank you very much for your creativity and the talent and courage you show in your work. Continue to create and please everyone with new victories on the hospitable site of Animaevka.
Chairman of the jury of the contest of children's animation creativity, director of the film studio "Soyuzmultfilm", head of the Department of Animation and Multimedia of the Moscow State Institute of Culture Sergey Strusovsky wished all children who touch creativity, constantly light up with new ideas, create interesting films and drawings:
The most expensive thing about Animaevka is that young stars and talents are lit up here, which I hope will continue to please with their creativity. The festival in Mogilev is special because it unites professionals, novice animators and spectators. I am very glad that the number of competitive works is growing every year: this indicates that Animaevka expands the circle of friends.
In the competition of children’s animation art, the prize of the festival “Small Pencil” went to Belgium, Iran, Georgia and Russia. The winners were also representatives of Belarus: in the nomination “The best sound solution of an animated film” the collective work “Stray musicians” of the children’s film studio “Dragonfly”, and “The best Belarusian animated film” was the film “Angel and the Blue Butterfly” by Ksenia Tymoshenko and Ksenia Shelyukh from the theater and film studio “ArtCadr”.
The Grand Prix of the Animaevka Festival received the work of the Russian director on how important it is not to be afraid to be yourself
