The regional festival of folk art and crafts "Glushensky hamlet" will unfold on October 3 in the Bobruisk district. The holiday will be held for the 17th time and will unite masters and artisans, performers and creative teams, as well as custodians of the folklore heritage of Belarus, sb.by told the Bobruisk District Executive Committee.

The program will be rich in bright and memorable events: a competition of theatrical presentations of rituals "Värtanne da otka ", plein air on ceramics and pottery under the leadership of the People's Master of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Orlov with a demonstration of authentic techniques for processing clay products. The gastronomic variety will surprise the exhibition of Belarusian national cuisine “Piknik Pa-Belarusku”.
Cultural workers will show their talents in the competition of game programs “Khutarsk fun”, an excellent mood for participants and viewers will be presented by the entertainment show “Mistress of Glushensky farm” and the regional competition of the Belarusian song “I love Cyabe, White Russia”. There is also a large-scale gala concert with the participation of the best creative teams of the Bobruisk district and guests of the holiday.
During the day, an exhibition-fair of agricultural products, thematic folk farmsteads and trade rows of artisans will work in Glush, from which you can buy unique handmade souvenirs. The organizers will also prepare interactive sports and playgrounds, master classes and colorful photo zones. The district executive committee emphasizes:
Glushansky Farm is a truly family holiday, which allows you to plunge into the atmosphere of folk color and sincere Belarusian hospitality.
The history of the festival began in 2010. Today it has outgrown the format of a local holiday and has become a hallmark of the Bobruisk district. The main location of the event invariably remains the Crafts Center of the village of Glusha, which was opened in the Soviet years to preserve and revive the unique crafts of the region. Here, an open-air museum was created, where authentic wooden buildings of the late XIX - early XX centuries were brought: a windmill, a tavern, a village hut. All this will be seen by the festival participants.
