He was Seva to me. How happy he would be if he knew that Nikolai Lebedev would be the president of the festival. Vsevolod Nikolaevich was a strict spectator, but this is a director whom he adored.

Nikolai Lebedev, who inherited the presidential post, is not only a director, screenwriter and producer who directed the films “Snake Spring”, “Admirer”, “Star”, “Wolf of the Grey Dogs”, “Legend N17”, “Crew”, “Nuremberg”, “Kraken”, but also the president of the Guild of Film Directors of Russia.

When he arrived at the cinema for the opening ceremony of the Golden Phoenix, he was waiting not only for fans, but also for a large family of relatives led by a second cousin. For example, the parents of actor Sergei Nikonenko were born in one of the villages of the Smolensk region. And actress Dina Korzun, who came to the festival, was born and grew up in Smolensk.

“I first visited Smolensk and in this hall many years ago, presented my first painting “Snake Spring” together with Olga Mikhailovna Ostroumova, remember the amazing energy of the auditorium,” said Nikolai Lebedev. - I've never been in a movie.
