On October 23, well-wishers from the school forestry "Green House", which operates on the basis of the Christmas school in Gatchina district of the Leningrad region, planted white lilac bushes in Mikhailovsky. About this "MK in Pskov" reported in the press service of the State Museum-Reserve of A.S. Pushkin "Mikhailovsky".
Lilac planted a curtain near the poet's house. It is known that the lilac on this place was planted in the postwar years. However, over time, the bushes grew and aged. At the moment, the museum has begun updating this element of park architecture. This idea was discussed in April 2026 – during the scientific and practical conference “Gardens and Parks of Russia”.
Later, experts will begin rejuvenating old bushes with pruning, stimulating the appearance of a new growth.
